2014

A roundup of the year gone by:

Musical highlight of the year:
Spending St. Patrick’s Day at The Roundhouse seeing Imelda May. Fantastic.

Theatre highlight of the year:
A View From The Bridge. The cast, design, direction. It was perfect theatre in every way and quite simply the best thing I’ve ever seen.

Best film/book of the year:
I haven’t cried so much in a cinema since seeing Titanic than when I saw 12 Years A Slave.

Other top happenings:
Visiting Harrogate for the Crime Writing Festival for the first time was not only great fun but inspiring and fascinating.

Most looking forward to in 2014:
Hopefully a holiday abroad. Nothong confirmed as yet.
